The Moon will travel through the signs of fixed earth Taurus and mutable air Gemini today
In Taurus the Moon will make a conjunction to Uranus as the first aspect for the day. Solid and stable Moon, grounded in new territory, meets Uranus the great awakener, liberator and agent of change. The Moon embodies through her own light, the energy and frequency of Uranus. She becomes electrically charged in the immersive nature of the force that Uranus represents. This is the Intuitive Mind, with a rebellious aspect. The rebellious aspect to this is only a portion and not all that Uranus brings. Rebellion is only needed to a point, beyond which it becomes itself a destructive force. It's a bit like cynicism in this way; a state of being needed in order to acknowledge and release built up tension, or to break through a membrane of fixity, and yet to continue with its energy beyond the moment of its necessity, becomes itself a cycle of repetition, which is an embattled state of mind, as fixed as the state from which the Moon must break free; just as cynicism becomes a brittle state, that love cannot soften or permeate.
This conjunction suggests to potential for a breakthrough of some kind, which requires a certain effort to break the membrane and step through into a changed state of personal values. How this plays out in Taurus for the Moon, could be seen as a change of resources, values, stability and the fixed ways of doing things. Money and finances as resources could become part of the changes needed, as could a sense of how the Moon connects with the Earth herself in a relationship that is supportive of change. There are many ways this could play out.
Neptune turns retrograde in Pisces. This is a vast Ocean Liner changing direction and so the focus of Neptune becomes internalised, drilling into that portion of the Pisces realm as he pivots direction, within the personal and collective unconscious. What is being brought to conscious awareness is from the inside out. Dreams, Visions, Spiritual leanings could emerge. The outer 'play' becomes less valuable as a reference point, as internal truths and illusions; delusions, lies and deceptions are all in the melting pot of the unconscious. We will have the next 6 months or so to digest the content that this retrograde brings up. As this is the last retrograde cycle in Pisces for Neptune, he is wrapping up his transit through Pisces for the next 165 years. Neptune is about to instigate a brand new cycle. So this period now is going to be interesting and seminal.
Mercury in Cancer then makes a trine to Neptune in Pisces. This is a transfer and two way flow of emotional frequency information, related to home and family, to childhood states of consciousness and the Mother Child relationship, as well as the deep internal core of the self. Mercury communicates to Neptune, in his deep dive stitch in time being made in Pisces. Neptune likewise informs Mercury of the unconscious material which is at the drill point of this last degree in Pisces; for all. We will see what rises up to be more fully integrated at an emotional and subjective level.
Mercury then slides into fixed fire Leo about an hour later. In Leo, Mercury has an entirely different vibrational frequency style of communicating, through the lens of the Solar identity. Fixed fire Leo will bring communications of all kinds to the fore that are about the fixed identity of the self; the Solar principle of being at the centre of ones life. This is all about the importance of Self identity. Mercury gets to share knowledge and information from this perspective. With knowledge from hindsight of emotional matters at home, Mercury is now met with the heat and warmth and light of the Lion.
The Moon in Taurus then makes a sextile to Neptune. This may bring up dreams and reflections which are points of self awareness for the Moon to ponder which open up new perspectives on old patterns. This is a last degree point aspect, just as the Mercury trine was to Neptune. Interesting that on the heals of Neptune turning retrograde, both Mercury and the Moon make aspects to Neptune. This is suggestive of the intentional dynamics of the wheel of life; a synchrony of aspects, and the completion of a long phase that is wrapping up with the Neptune transit through Pisces.
The Moon then enters Gemini, where she wants to talk, share, communicate and outwardly connect with information and knowledge that helps her to understand something. It seems as if she is looking for reflections that inform and add to her knowledge. The Moon in her subjective felt sense of experience, is looking through the lens of the kind of logic that networks outwardly, to corroborate and to grow the extensive library of all communications through the Gemini lens, and where she can share her own unique perspective. She will be subjectively thinking and learning about the streams of communication available through the telegraph wires.
The Moon then makes a sextile to Mercury in Leo. This is a very communicative sextile. The Moon is in one of the home signs of Mercury; the other being Virgo. In this sextile there is a mutually beneficial exchange of information that is intuitive, logical and emotionally subjective that 'moves' the mutable air of Gemini into fixed fire Leo. This feels like a intuitive fanning of the flames of the self. Moon in mutable air and Mercury in fixed fire. Fixed fire would imply those fixed passions and ideals around self identity, in mutual support with mutable ideas and knowledge that reflects the Moon's perspective. Mercury and Leo in this sextile, carry the greater weight.
The Moon then makes a trine to Pluto in Aquarius. This is a transference of deeper knowledge from Pluto who is revealing so much information from the Aquarius field right now. So much is coming to light, and in this trine the Moon Feels the weight of what is being revealed, yet in logical Gemini, can take in the information with a cooler head. The trine flows both ways, so there is a mutual exchange in communications. There is a sense that the Moon could feel overwhelmed by the volume and weight of information here. Trines are not always easy, even if they flow freely.
The last aspect for today is Venus in Cancer making a trine to Saturn, also retrograde now, in Pisces. This is a free flow of emotional communications between the subjective realm of Cancer and home; the area where Venus feeds all her desires, wants and wishes at an emotional level, and Saturn, within the realms of the unconscious. Saturn is a deeper reflection of a more sensitive and compassionate aspect to his own nature, where all his hard edges are being dissolved. He is softer and more receptive to Venus and Venus feels this as nurturing and spiritual encouragement. There are little boundaries here between them and I wonder what this brings for Tuesday. I can see that it could be just as described for Venus. Yet equally, there could be a reality check around personal illusions, whose boundaries are being dissolved within the structures of her own unconscious. Either way, this is useful and good and supportive of new growth.
