The Moon will be traveling through the signs of mutable air Gemini and later cardinal water Cancer
The Moon makes a sextile to Chiron in Aries this morning. From her place in Gemini, the Moon receives and shares communications that speak to those unknown things that are coming to her awareness and as she connects with Chiron there is support and wisdom teaching from Chiron that hears what she is saying and what she is feeling and sensing, at deeper levels than she can convey. Chiron is actively asserting a healing force through the lens of Aries (the individual Will to exist), and reflecting this to the Moon. There is much healing and strengthening of her spirit and a sense of herself as a unique and stubbornly independent self. In itself, after all the fast moving information of yesterday, the Moon can feel anchored and reminded of courage, fortitude, bravery, independence of spirit, and commitment to new beginnings. Likewise, Chiron is aided in the healing process by knowledge gained of hidden things; unconscious things that come to the surface to be heard and seen and known.
After this aspect, it's a quiet day until 9:44pm (UK time). So there is time during the day to process all the sensory, intuitive insights and experience, through the mechanism of logic and reason, to a clear thought. The Moon can 'think' through and make sense, of what has been brought to light for her.
At 9:44pm, the Moon makes a square to Neptune. This is so synchronous after her process of the day; to now be called to notice, to sense into, and feel the unconscious contents that are her own. She will feel the collective also, and yet it is her own internal experience that is most useful, most growth-full for her to focus on, now. Neptune at that last degree of Pisces; the Moon at the last degree of Gemini. Thinking mind of logic and reason, meets internally focused, emotional and spiritual sensitivity, to the deeper content of the personal unconscious. The Moon is about to tip into cardinal water Cancer. We now know from our reflections on the transits so far, that this will bring a direct connection for the Moon to her ways of attachment in relationship to family dynamics. Who is the Moon in the family? How are her needs met? What are those needs, and importantly, are those needs of the kind that need to be released? Remember, the Moon is growing, becoming self responsible and taking on her own personal authority. She is becoming more and more of her own self.
Just 7 minutes later, the Moon enters Cancer. She is now fully immersed in all her senses, in the atmosphere and memories of home. Here there are comforts, habits, roles, relationships, attachments and traditions. There will be connections to childhood home life, family life now as well as a reflection into her own deeper core self, where the heart is. For the next two and a half days, the Moon can reflect on all this. Intuitively the Moon has the opportunity to both rest and replenish here and to find nurture in the comfortable surroundings. There is also a reasonable expectation that she may also encounter those roles that she is out growing, but which family systems may hold of her and expect of her. This is both comfort and discomfort; all in one melting pot of the psyche and cardinal emotions; stories.
At 12:11 (midnight), the Moon now makes an in-conjunct to Pluto in Aquarius. She senses without full clarity, the discomfort of adjustment needed, in order to engage with Pluto who is transmuting and transforming old memories; forgotten states may come flooding into the Cancer field from the fixed patterns being dug up in the Aquarius field. The in-conjunct brings frustrations, discomfort, and an awareness that not everything is clear or easy to see and understand, but the Moon Feels the disturbance in her own field of awareness.
The Moon can sleep on it all; dreams will ideally bring clarity through the language of symbolism and the unconscious, through metaphors and allegories. Dreams may bring up treasures unknown or unremembered from the depths. If dreams are remembered, they will be transformative in their potential.
Until tomorrow, Much Love
Manda
