Planetary Transits for the week of 9th - 15th June 2025
The Moon Phases in Transit this week - We begin the week on Monday with the Moon in Fixed Water Scorpio, and in Waxing Gibbous phase until the Full Moon on Wednesday 11th. As a reminder, the Waxing Gibbous phase this close to the Full Moon, is almost as far away from the Sun as it can get. The Moon and the Earth are receiving the maximum Solar energies and light which will peak on Wednesday. On Monday afternoon the Moon enters Mutable Fire Sagittarius, and on Wednesday after the Full Moon, the Moon enters the Waning Gibbous phase, and the energy begin its fade from Full. We remain in Waning Gibbous phase for the remainder of this weeks Moon Feels, while the Moon continues to transit through Sagittarius and on Thursday in the nighttime the Moon enters Cardinal Earth Capricorn. On Saturday late morning, the Moon enters Fixed Air Aquarius, which is where we end our Moon Feels on Sunday.
The Chart at Midday on Monday 9th June - This is an interesting chart for midday on Monday. We can see at this point of the day, that the Moon is the catalyst for the formation of a Boat and Full upright Sail (mostly recognised in astrology as a Cradle configuration).
The structure of the Boat is formed by a series of Sextile’s and Trines, which are the components of two Minor Grand Trines. The predominant elements of the Minor Grand Trines are Fixed Water, Fixed Air and Fixed Earth, with Cardinal Fire (the Saturn Neptune conjunction in Aries) as a combustion point of contained but building Steam.
The Sail is formed by a T-Square, which the Moon also catalyses in its Opposition with Uranus in Taurus and Square to Mars in Leo. The T-Square of the Full Sail is also Fixed in nature between Water, Fire and Earth. So, in the whole configuration of aspects on Monday at Midday, we have all the Elements present, but with a predominance of Fixed Modalities. The only energy that ‘moves’ is Cardinal Fire where the Saturn Neptune Conjunction is the unified force of initial movement for the structure of the Boat.
It feels like a powder keg, that is burning from deeper in; in Aries, as the initiating force of action and initiation into New Territory, but this Cardinal energy pushes against all the Fixed energies of the Scorpio Water, the Aquarius Air (Vacuum) and the Taurus Earth. This is deep internal pressure that is going to continue to build.
The allies toward desired movement are Uranus in Fixed Earth Taurus, Pluto in Fixed Air Aquarius, Neptune and Mars as the Motivating Force in the Fire signs, as the Moon transits through Fixed Water Scorpio. Mars is at the release point of the tension in this T-Square, and as an activating force in first quarter square to Uranus the Agent of Change, who is at the Anoretic degree of Fixed Earth Taurus. Remember what I talked about last week with regard to the Anoretic degree. This is the kind of force that ‘breaks through.’ You will no doubt Feel the potential power of this whole configuration and where it wants to go, as I do.
Mercury has just entered Cardinal Water Cancer, and Jupiter at the Anoretic degree of Gemini and is about to leap faithfully into Cardinal Waters and join Mercury. They are still in a tight, if separating, Conjunction together and in this ‘out of sign’ Conjunction, there is a merging of Mind and Emotion. Jupiter and Mercury moving through Cancer is going to be very interesting.
Thinking with Emotional Intelligence is the light of possibility for some, while Jupiter will certainly expand and turn up the volume on the Feelings world, in so many ways both easy and intense; whatever is hiding in secret, in Cancer will be activated by Mercury and Jupiter will bring the many gifts of the quest for meaning in higher aspirational Mind, to the world of Feelings. In shadow expression and depending what is contained in the Emotional world for some, there is an activation of emotional messages with Mercury, expanded by Jupiter with the idea of going through a philosophical process over the Jupiter transit time period, (the next year), to understand from higher perspectives, what has been an internally experienced feelings world.
Jupiter is in final separating Square aspect to Saturn and Neptune from now and for the next few weeks and months. There is a larger process being fulfilled. This Square for Jupiter creates a tension to Act in resonance with the Jupiter Saturn Conjunction which took place in Aquarius, December 2020. Their Conjunction was at zero degrees. This is a Critical degree point for any Planetary cycle to begin.

I will post it here as a reminder of that imprint, and to highlight the foundation of intention for the new Jupiter Saturn cycle that is underway now, in this final one of three ‘initiating’ Squares. In this Square to Saturn, Jupiter is picking up on the ‘initiating force’ of the Saturn Neptune Conjunction and those energies inform Jupiter and impress that process onto Jupiter, which brings meaning and purpose to Jupiter’s own aspirations. The Cardinal Fire of Aries fuels and inspires and imprints the needed tension to propel the quest that will move through Cardinal Waters. This is spiritual fire for Jupiter; purpose and meaningful emotional encounters.
Jupiter is the bringer of Joy, on a mission to bring joy and faith and a sense of optimism into the field of Cancer; this is the action needed right now in the coming weeks as their Square completes its work. I can Feel how the world needs Jupiter in Cancer.

Major works require group endeavour and so we know that such works are emblematic of their times. Thousands of years ago, Stone Age man created features that were very difficult to make – stone circles and Stonehenge for example – that were clearly used for worship and ceremony, and they show that that aspect of life was very important indeed to them. Adobe missions similarly took great effort to place in the wild territory of California’s early period, and collectively they took on the dual function of survival and worship. We might ask of ourselves, ‘Does our own set of values motivate us powerfully enough to create something sufficiently lasting that it outlives us?’

In this (last) first quarter Square between Jupiter and Saturn, we can now begin to truly appreciate the need for such ‘structures’ as we walk toward the Saturn Neptune Conjunction in February 2026. This current Saturn Neptune conjunction before they both retrograde back into Pisces and make the Big Stitch in Time, is the initiation of that. Jupiter is bringing something together in Cancer that is emotional connection through home and hearth, that cements the idea of ‘what we build together now will nurture all family, nuclear and human collective, going forward.’ Whatever comes in the future, this is preparation for all needs being accounted for (Management with future in Mind - zero Aquarius). Jupiter’s faith and optimism is just what is needed.
It is good to bear all this in mind as we go through the week. I’ve talked about the energies unfolding on Monday, except in relation to the remaining transits not mentioned.
As the Moon moves on in transit, the Boat and Sail configuration dissipates and the Moon then makes a Trine to Saturn and Neptune in Aries and a Sextile to Pluto in Aquarius. These show us that there is a harmonised connection between the Moon and the Saturn Neptune partnership of initiating and testing something completely new, and the Sextile with Pluto while the Moon is in the first degrees of Sagittarius, is an optimistic Moon looking to see what is emerging from the Aquarius field; Pluto style. This is a broader, bigger, wider field of perception that is aware of higher perspectives that help the Moon to see more, know more and sense more, that was previously hidden from view.
It’s here that the Moon goes deeply quiet until Wednesday morning at the Full Moon, with no other aspects until then.
To finish our look at Monday, we turn to Mercury who makes two squares. In the morning there is a first quarter Square to Saturn in Aries, and at the end of the day a Square to Neptune in Aries. These squares are both crisis in action Squares, which require Mercury to communicate in an emotionally stable way in service to the Mercury Saturn; Mercury Neptune cycles in Aries in the spring and early summer. Both Conjunctions took place in Pisces and in early Aries during Mercury’s latest retrograde period during March and into April. Endings and Beginnings; Death and Rebirth. Mercury Saturn met at 21 degree Pisces and the symbol for that degree encompassed the idea of Purification through the practice and demonstration of innocence. Then the Neptune conjunctions that both happened through the retrograde process of Mercury, at the last degree of Pisces. The Great Stone Face; we become what we idealise. How Mercury communicates is important and integral in regard to the tensions that arise through these Squares.
At 17:20 on Monday Venus in Taurus makes a Square to Pluto in Aquarius. As a fixed square and first quarter, Venus is faced with needing to act in line with her deepest values, as Pluto exposes information that knocks against them. This feels like a heavy square; fixed in nature. There will be programs and patterns that were hidden coming to light that trigger Venus to act on her own behalf; to stabilise in the field of Taurus. Issues around finance, sustainability, resources that create stability; resourcefulness. These are just some of the deeper issues that Venus is faced with later on Monday. Venus has been feeling the Square for some while, and will continue to feel it as it dissipates, but this all depends on time during which Venus is at home to stabilise herself in new ways that support her in her newfound sense of self.
At 21:02 Jupiter enters Cardinal Water Cancer, and the energy continues to build toward it’s peak of light and illumination. Jupiter has entered the realm of the Moon and the Cardinal emotional nature of home and hearth. The core of matter.
This is followed by that second Mercury Square to Neptune.
Tuesday 10th June
The only transit aspect being made today is by Mars in Leo making a Trine to Chiron in Aries. In this fire trine, Mars in its most Solar nature supports with fierce warmth and benevolence, the sense of the Aries wound that may experience the triggers associated with this transit. It is helpful and harmonious, even though the wound may become prominent, but with the ability to connect with a self identity that is strong and certain. Mars offers a sharp and clarifying lens; illuminates the individual sense of self, and Chiron teaches and brings healing to any crisis of confidence.
Wednesday 11th June
At 07:43am we experience the Full Moon in Sagittarius. This Moon is fully bathed in the Solar light of the Sun in Gemini. This Full Moon transmits communications that are fully lit, fully formed ideas come into awareness, intuitive insights into big picture ideas. In this Full Moon there is optimism, faith, inspired knowledge of a higher order

It may challenge or even offend the ego to learn that another person is further advanced in knowledge than we are. And typically the less aware person is not aware of the difference, but the more aware person is – because unconsciousness is unconscious of unconsciousness whilst consciousness is conscious of consciousness. To be stubborn about this, or prideful, is seriously counterproductive. If we want to progress we must emulate someone who is ahead of us on the path and copy their way of doing things. “Fake it ‘til you make it” is a working principle.

This brings to mind the saying about ‘when we think we know everything, that is when we realise that we know less than we thought,’ probably because we come across someone, or knowledge is made conscious, that teaches us so much ‘more.’ We are illuminated all over again, with knowledge that takes us further and helps us to realise how little we actually do know. This opens the mind to receive, humbly, greater knowledge. It’s an interesting degree for this Full Moon. Very nice too. I love the idea of learning more; because there is so much that we do not know, but which I feel we need to know. So at this Full Moon, be Open to receiving knowledge that takes us all further in our own understanding.
At 12:12 the Moon makes a T-Square to the Nodes of the Moon. North in Pisces and South in Virgo. There is a strong tension felt between the past and the future in the present moment.
At 18:27 on Wednesday, the Moon in Sagittarius makes a Trine to Chiron in Aries. In this freshly illuminated state and full of optimism and faith, this Trine is a fiery harmonisation of spiritual knowledge which has the potential to bring healing to an Aries wound; there is wisdom transmitted through the Trine to complete a circuit of knowledge.
At 19:40 Mercury in Cancer makes a Sextile to Venus in Taurus. Mercury the Messenger, communicates an emotional message to Venus that is supportive and helps to pull her into a deeper resonance with her own emotional core. Mercury is made aware of Venus in her own reality space. It’s an equal exchange in a mutual endeavour. The stabilising of emotions through appropriate and solid information exchange.
Lastly on Wednesday the Moon in Sagittarius makes a Trine to Mars in Leo. Remember that Mars made a nice fire Trine to Chiron on Tuesday, and the Moon making this Trine now, instigates a Grand Fire Trine that will last for a good 2 - 4 hours today; of spiritually harmonised energies running between Optimistic and enlightened Moon, Wise Chiron and Solar oriented Mars. There is nothing to hold up the energy; it flows fast and hot.
Thursday 12th June
At 01:55 the Moon enters Cardinal Earth Capricorn. Down to the serious business of focused, goal oriented attention, where the Moon takes responsible steps, to get things done.
At 02:53 the Moon in Capricorn makes an Opposition to Jupiter. The world of emotions and home, is an expanded focus and in this Opposition there is a tension between both home and work, emotions and practicality. The Moon is pulled and stretched between two familiar poles of tension, with the added emphasis of Jupiter’s presence in the Moon’s home sign. Perhaps both can be served in a balanced way.
These are nighttime aspects for the UK, so dreams may play out the energies, at an individual level, if these transits activate a personal natal chart.
At 04:06 the Moon makes a last quarter Square to Saturn in Aries, and again for the UK, these energies of the crisis in consciousness square may come forward in the dreamtime. Saturn rules Capricorn, so the Moon may feel heightened sense of responsible energies, in relation to new forms being initiated.
At 05:50 the Moon makes a last quarter Square to Neptune. Again, this nighttime is filled with tensions that ‘pull’ on the Moon and that sense of turning up and taking responsibility as an individual in a grown up way. Maturity of the subjective self is a way to describe this; the Moon is being asked to grow up and take charge. Dreams!
At 14:21 later on Thursday, the Moon makes a Trine to Venus in Taurus. This transmits stable values, sustainable growth, taking responsibility for those things that are in front of us to get done.
At 15:55 the Moon makes an Opposition to Mercury in Cancer. So, here we have a maturing sense of the Cancer Capricorn axis and how it is playing out over the nighttime and through Thursday. The theme here is that of emotional maturity, and finding a way to balance the work play of life; tasks and responsibilities measured against the needs to be at home and in the safe and comfortable emotional world of Cancer. It’s a balancing task.
At 18:34 the Moon makes a Sextile with Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio and this brings forward insights of the kind that Black Moon Lilith in the karmic waters of Scorpio would know. Emotional memory, unlocked, that is helpful to the tasks of the Moon. Something to grow out of; a pattern that is being worked out, worked through, unpicked. This is my initial sense of how helpful this Sextile can be for the Moon.
Friday 13th June
10:27 Mercury in Cancer makes a Trine to Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio. The connection is easy between past emotional patterns and current emotions. For thinking things through, this is very helpful.
At 14:35 the Sun in Gemini makes a T-Square with the Nodes. North in Pisces and South in Virgo. Tensions are illuminated between past and future in the present moment. In Gemini the Sun radiates this tension. As a state of awareness, this lasts all day and wanes by early next week. We have probably already been aware of this state of mental tension all week so far, but today (Friday), this tension is at its peak on intensity.
Then at 21:30 the Moon makes a Sextile to the North Node in Pisces and a Trine to the South in Virgo, which is very helpful in processing the deeper issues, releasing the past and connecting more certainly with future ideas in growing conscious awareness of what it all might look like.
Saturday 14th June
03:57 the Moon in Capricorn makes a Square to Chiron. Crisis in consciousness, connects with the closing square between the Moon and Chiron and this brings up a sense of what needs to adjust internally, in order to align more fully with something of a healing nature for Aries; self confidence, personal autonomy and being self directed. Asserting with courage our personal will to exist, as a matter of fact. Dreams are the space in which this transit may express itself.
08:51 on Saturday and the Moon makes a Trine to Uranus in Taurus. Earthly status transmits through to Earthly reality and back again. It’s like an echo chamber in which our status is valued and our values receive validation.
At 11:00 the Moon enters Fixed Air Aquarius. The Moon is more detached but oddly more connected to everyone else.
At 13:20 the Moon in Aquarius makes a Sextile to Saturn in Aries. and then another Sextile to Neptune at 14:51. Both Saturn and Neptune are ‘as one’ in their Conjunction; forming new spiritual structures and removing barriers between things to ‘open the way’ forward. The Sextile brings the Moon into a collaborative energy with the frequencies of releasing and opening; removing barriers to connection and accepting of the unexpected and unusual, as it happens.
At 17:26 the Moon makes a Conjunction with Pluto. Here is the Sabian symbol for their new cycle together at 4 degrees of Aquarius.

Long ago our species lost its balance and set up a pattern of distortion in thinking and behaviour that has prevented us from finding the highest degree of group consciousness. That has brought emotional and physical disorder to most people across the planet. Yet certain people have kept alive practices from ancient times and are able, and in fact duty bound, to offer healing to those ready to receive it.

As the Moon connects more with the Aquarius frequencies of unexpected outcomes and the unusual coming from out of nowhere, this conjunction speaks of the sharing of knowledge by those who have access to unique perspectives, which is useful to the wider community of everyone else. These are healing perspectives that have been quiescent until being unlocked by Pluto. This lays the foundation of the Moon Pluto cycle for the coming month and beyond. Pluto in retrograde is likely to mean that this degree point will remain active beyond the month and into the next cycle as well.
Sunday 15th June
It’s been a high energy week with a lot of layered experience. Sunday begins with the transit of the Moon in Aquarius making a T-Square between Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio and Venus in Taurus, during the nighttime hour of 03:35 - 03:56 when the T-Square peaks. Dreams may bring insight. This is both a crisis in consciousness and a crisis in action point where the Moon’s position in Aquarius is the release point. Compartmentalised knowledge and information may well re-surface from the filing cabinets in Davy Jones’ Locker. The T-Square suggests a crucial point of tension between the karmic past and the deepest values and resources of current reality. This is potentially de-stabilising of the sense of reality and what is real and how things have been, and what it all means.
At 09:46 Mars in Leo makes a Square to Uranus who is at the Anoretic degree of Taurus. Fixed reality meets the final moments of Uranus in this sign; potentially another de-stabilising activation that impacts Mars who must act on his own behalf in this critical point of the changing landscape of reality; Values, Resources, Money, Financial stability, etc., all the Taurus things and all the things we thought would always be there, as they always have been. It’s hard to know how to say it with any less sense of instability. Mars in Leo is the warrior at the heart of the fixed nature and identity of the self, and this square to Uranus requires Action. I think of Coronal Mass Ejections, Solar Storms, Earthquakes and Volcano’s as a potential expression of this kind of tension. We shall see how it unfolds, as we bear in mind that this square has been building over the days and weeks before, peaks now, and will continue to reverberate over the coming days and weeks ahead; until Mars moves on. In July Uranus will enter Gemini, just as a point of reference for how the energies are likely to bring a fast moving change in so many ways. Ways that will be talked about, thought about, communicated and broadcast … over the coming 8 years or so of Uranus in Gemini. So this Anoretic degree in Taurus is a breaking point. This is a Fixed square and not an easy change.
Lastly for this weeks Moon Feels, at 14:35 on Sunday, Jupiter now in Cancer which is a big change in itself from the mental expansion of the last year. Jupiter in the emotional world of core and home, makes its square with Saturn in Aries, exact today. We are experiencing on Sunday a peak experience of a week of building tensions and this Square is as I spoke of it at the beginning of the Moon Feels, which I will copy here:
