The Moon travels through the sign of cardinal air Libra all day
It is a brief Moon Feels today, with just three aspects to speak of. The Grand water trine between Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces is still operational from yesterday, and has strengthened. So the deep dive process of Venus is actively engaging with unconscious structures through Saturn and its intensely layered entanglements, and through Mars there is the fierce emotional privacy to protect in Cancer.
Mars is making a square to the Libra stellium of Planets, including the Sun, Black Moon Lilith, Mercury and the Moon. The strongest being the Moon right now as she transits through Libra. So we have this tension between the Moon and Mars that calls for sensitivity around the vulnerability in emotional attachments that Mars activates.
Remember that in order to resolve conflict, Mars first has to activate and create the conflict so that it can be faced and resolved. In Libra, the Moon Feels this in relationships. The first quarter square is a call to respond to the tension, but with sensitivity and intuitive understanding of what is subjectively coming to the fore in her own field of self awareness, as she relates to others. The square is exact at 8am, so the day begins with this tension here in the UK.
At 6:40pm the Moon in Libra makes a trine to Jupiter in Gemini. The trine brings a fast flow of information from the Gemini field to the Moon in Libra. There is a correspondence of information that has an impact on the Moon, in a benevolent sense. The Jupiter energy is a welcome flow of a philosophical perspective that is helpful and builds trust and faith in what is conveyed. The Moon is learning something of benefit, that no doubt is connected with those attachments and vulnerabilities that the square with Mars brought to the fore.
Lastly today, at 7:32pm the Moon makes an opposition to Chiron in Aries. This feels like a connection that is of a healing nature for the Moon and Chiron, in relation to Self identity and individual Will. Chiron is a master teacher in the healing arts, having learned from his own wounds. In this opposition the Moon is in full receipt of a teaching that brings healing. It is most likely that this relates to the vulnerability of attachment that the Moon is learning to release, in response to the square with Mars while in Libra, and hot on the heels of the eclipse and her New Moon moment, where she is deeply and intellectually at her most receptive to new energies.
