The Moon will travel through the signs of fixed water Scorpio and then enter mutable fire Sagittarius at 11:01am in the UK

We can see from the chart that Black Moon Lilith who is retrograde, makes a conjunction to the South Node in Libra and an opposition to the North Node in Aries. In the same time period in the early hours of the morning at 5:24am, the Moon in Scorpio will make an opposition to Uranus in Taurus. After this she will trine Neptune in Pisces and then enters Sagittarius at 11:01am, where she will make a sextile to Pluto at 11:45am, and at 1:09pm will make a square to Mercury retrograde, in Virgo. These are the transits for the day, after which those energies will 'sink in.'

So, let's look at the Moon Feels and start with Black Moon Lilith. She is doing two things at once; both a conjunction and an opposition. She is dealing with the South, while looking to the North for inspiration. Bear in mind that all of these things; BML, the South and North Nodes of the Moon, are mathematical points and not actual physical archetypes; yet by their placement, they carry archetypal energies that relate to the past for resolution, and to the desired outcome. The Nodes of the Moon always are in polarity to each other, and so we are always in the process of integrating past and future, while navigating our way to a desired outcome, as an evolutionary intention. This brings new experience and challenges that bring opportunities for growth.

Let's look at the Sabian symbol for her conjunction with the South Node of the Moon.

It is reassuring to know that, however often we may stumble and fall, we can never extinguish the light and fire of Spirit within; 'hope springs eternal'. Hope is faith's refusal to die. We can always find a place of spiritual comfort even if it is no more than a stranger advising us to 'keep on keeping on'. Indeed if we do touch bottom and pull ourselves up again, we are noticeably stronger and wiser after that experience, often more compassionate and forgiving too.

I cannot help feeling that this home with it's still blazing fireplace, belongs to the archetype of Black Moon Lilith and that it's just waiting for her to return, by choice and her own volition; that she wanders no more. She left a long time ago, but now as she meets her choice and gazes on the Aries North Node from this place, it is my dearest wish for her to know, that she is loved for all that she has carried, and for the courage it has taken her to walk alone all this time. It really is up to her, to come home to herself and her natural place of belonging; in right relationship. To heal the wound of her separation from Self, from Source and from Belonging, Black Moon Lilith will need to decide to love, and to allow herself to experience being loved. "To neither possess, not be possessed."

The Moon now makes an opposition to Uranus in Taurus. From the deep fixed water realm of subconscious and unconscious emotional dynamics of Scorpio, to the fixed earth polarity of Taurus, the Moon Feels everything deeply and is able to sense into the deeper motivations and hidden power of emotionally driven dynamics, with just about anything that she connects to. As she opposes Uranus she is directly confronted, head on, with deeper understandings that are emotional and without words. These Yin energies are of the changing world of feminine experience and principles. These are things that she felt would never change, and yet her world is changing in the deepest of ways; physically, in actual physical ways of how things seemed stable and suddenly there's not so much of a guarantee about that. While emotionally there is also a deeply transformative process that is of a transmuting force. It's a crunch point in the psyche of the Moon. The Moon must Let Go and allow herself to be transformed from the inside out. This aspect creates a powerful moment of 'no going back' change, both emotionally and in ways that support and sustain completely new value systems in how she operates from within herself in the world.

The Moon made her conjunction with Uranus on 29th July 2024 at 27 degrees Taurus. In Taurus the Symbols are all about: Power, Effectiveness, Application, Awakening, Authority, and Depth.

In time the role-playing sheds its glamour and the glitter and shine are replaced by a depth of beauty and peaceful joy. With age we become aspects of the culture, representatives of our tradition and holders of its deepest wisdom.

This I feel, speaks to the furthest reach of the Moon Uranus cycle in the opposition and a need to adapt; to move ones self in line with the changing world and in the personal and collective landscape that is Taurus. For the Moon, these are deep emotional attachments and values. The energy of this opposition is, 'It's all changing. Nothing can remain, as it was. There is no going back.' This opposition has 'inevitability' written all over it. Deeply held emotional constructs feel as if they are becoming unfixed, being seen and released of emotionally charged power dynamics, that can not withstand the transformative process, and this will change everything. Everything changes. Nothing can remain the same forever, including those things that we thought would.

The Moon now makes a trine to Neptune in Pisces ... we are only at 10:01am in the UK. This is a water trine at the last degree of both Scorpio and Pisces and in this sense it carries a lot of sensitivity to emotionally powerful and spiritual connections with the vision of what will come next. The Moon can see in a harmonised emotional alignment with Neptune. What is Neptune broadcasting? Whose vision is being broadcast? Is it in alignment with intended outcomes for future growth? Emotionally intelligent desires for a future vision will manifest as sustainable values, in a way that is congruent and true to collective needs. To be emotionally intelligent means to be responsible for the emotional charge that accompany's imagination. While being an ease and flow of emotional connection, this trine carries with it a vast potential to create something in the collective consciousness field that could be made manifest in the reality. It is important, I feel, for the Moon to be emotionally intelligent and wise; to remember the Adobe Missions that will be needed by future generations, and respond accordingly.

The Moon now enters Sagittarius at 11:01am, where she will seek in order to know things from a higher perspective and to reach as far as can be reached.

At 11:45am, the Moon now makes a sextile to Pluto in Aquarius. As a culminating sextile, this is a point of collaboratively aligning with the transformation of consciousness in the wider context of historic and epic leaps. With Aquarius there appears to be no limit. Ruled by Uranus this fixed air sign reaches to 'out of bounds' ideas and innovation. There is genius here. It's a radically transformative process that Pluto is intensely and powerfully involved in. The Moon in Sagittarius, reaches out to meet it. There is a powerful pull to seek to know, so much more than current reality has allowed for. These energies are so far beyond Saturn that the glass ceiling does not apply. Dream big. The Moon is headed for her Full Moon moment, which will be conjunct Pluto, opposite the Sun and Mercury retrograde conjunction, sextile Neptune, trine Uranus, and lastly but not least, Mars and Jupiter will be conjunct at the release point of a T Square to Saturn in Pisces and Venus in Virgo. Think about the aspects that we have been speaking of, think about the planets and their qualities; think about how all of this comes together in a moment of such illuminated fullness. This feels astounding. The Moon will be full on 19th August at 27 degrees and 15 minutes of Aquarius. In the UK this happens at 7:26pm. This sextile with Pluto feels like a moment of recognition, of a culminating sequence of things, where it all comes together, and it's 'out of the box.' I can hardly find the words. We will just have to meet it, as will the Moon, with the fullest and most emotionally intelligent of all our capabilities.

Lastly today, the Moon makes a first quarter square to Mercury in Virgo at 1:09pm. As the seeker on a quest for higher knowledge, the Moon connects with Mercury who is deeply reflective and discerning of all messages and knowledge that he holds. He is a messenger that is operating in service to the greater whole endeavour. Virgo is the sign of Service and her role is without parallel. So here I really value Mercury and especially in retrograde. In this square the Moon is reminded that she must take her seeking as seriously as she received the conjunction with Mercury in Virgo when they were together at 4 degrees Virgo.

James Burgess speaks of the Virgo symbols as:

"As we come to learn what is most significant in our lives (1) we are awakening to sacredness (2), feeling the presence of non-physical beings of light (3). It is by developing freedom from prejudicial mental constructs and beliefs (4) that we open up to the more subtle dimensions of reality"

That degree symbol was about 'a black child playing with white children,' remember?

The Moon, is called to act and speak in ways that dispel prejudice and division which from a higher perspective, do not have any validity. She is asked to keep an open mind and heart. From this place of non judgement of difference, the Moon can rise above the storm of divisive thoughts as they are currently projected onto reality at the mundane level. The Moon receives a message of truth from Mercury, in this square. It speaks to integrity and an alignment with truth.

I had no idea today would prove to be so powerful! How it turns out we shall see. Each day seems to carry a potency of growth and awareness in consciousness, for the Moon and for each of us who are listening.
