From now on, I will include the chart for the day. This chart is based on GMT for London and is set at 10:10am. Only the Moon will make significant movement today while all other planets will remain close to if not exactly where they are, as shown in the chart. Let's put a pin in the map of time as we are experiencing it now.
As seen in the backdrop of the chart, Neptune and Pluto remain in a strong sextile to each other. This is a supportive alliance between these two transformative planets. Pluto dealing with the deeper exposure of what is coming to light and Neptune as Spiritual gate keeper at the end of a larger cycle as a new cycle approaches. They work together to end and begin, in the transition period that these brief years represent. These are larger, collectively experienced energies that are slow and thorough in this endeavour. No stone is left unturned, no energy remains untransformed.
They are both still connected by sextile (Neptune) and trine (Pluto), to Mars, and Pluto also links to Jupiter by trine aspect. These are supportive, mutually enriching connections that move between both ends of the aspect in a flow of harmonious energy. They are working together in an agreed intention, for a specific outcome. This, I feel is to walk the collective experience toward a natural and powerful completion point which is transformative, visionary and spiritually guided, while Mars and Jupiter are cardinal and mutable elements of fire; both masculine energies of Will and Aspiration to Know from a higher perspective. We are in a larger transition period.
Transition cannot happen where nothing changes. Everything is changing, and the agent of change that is operating through this period of time is of course, Uranus. Uranus is working with the other outer planets, and today is still in a feint trine with Pluto. It's a wide orb but they are nevertheless still in a harmonious connection together. So what Pluto is doing, transfers to Uranus and what Uranus is doing is transmitted to Pluto.
Uranus and Neptune are connected still by sextile; still working for mutual outcomes between mutable water and fixed earth dynamics. Feminine domains of sensitivity, vision, mystical ... as well as potential deceptions and illusions still being clarified in the field of the collective consciousness of Pisces; while in Taurus, Uranus is breaking up the fixed world of the physical patterns of the world. These are the things that we thought would always remain solid and unchanged. Their sextile supports this larger transition; the larger vision and the change in consciousness required for change to move us into new forms and a new reality structure.
Uranus is also in a square pattern to both Mercury and Venus, both in Leo. Again we have the theme of Uranus being the larger energy that un-fixes the fixed. He forms the apex of a weakening T- Square, with Pluto and the Sun; all in fixed signs, and brings changing attitudes in how we think as Mercury, and how we connect as Venus with others. Remember that Leo Aquarius axis that is being transformed through the Pluto process. Add in Taurus and there's the T-Square. This is massive tension that is being broken open, for every one and for all.
The Sun and Pluto, as they experience their opposition, are positioned respectively on the axis of 'I Alone' and 'I with Everyone Else.' This is fixed fire and fixed air, so there are many fixed patterns to be transformed within these archetypal energies. In this clear line of sight between them, Pluto reveals and the Sun illuminates. As a transformative relationship axis between everyone, we all experience this relational dynamic, as one unique aspect of identity, and as one unique organism; as a whole.
Lastly, let's look at an aspect pattern that is going to continue from now until next June sometime. This is the square between Jupiter in Gemini and Saturn in Pisces. Saturn in Pisces can be likened to the spiritual and growing awareness of structures of responsibility within the personal and collective consciousness field, while old forms are undergoing the dissolution process. So there are many processes at play with this one placement of Saturn and his transit through Pisces. This connects by first quarter square as a crisis in action tension point, to Jupiter in Gemini. Jupiter represents the Quest to Aspire to Know and to Grow beyond the limitations of the known; beyond Saturn. He is in Gemini which is the field of communication, of knowledge gained and shared, knowledge categorised and understood through the lens of left brained logic. Jupiter wanting to break free, while constrained under the glass ceiling of old limitations. These are limitations within the structure of how thought is processed. Jupiter here seeks to grow and to know more and most importantly to network and share from his aspirational, motivational and lofty perspective. To understand this further let's look at the Sabian symbol for their conjunction.
The Jupiter Saturn conjunction happened at 1 degree of Aquarius; where Pluto is now, which is a distinct correspondence of processes within this larger transformative process. Their conjunction took place in December 2020 during the last days of that year.

Major works require group endeavour and so we know that such works are emblematic of their times. Thousands of years ago, Stone Age man created features that were very difficult to make – stone circles and Stonehenge for example – that were clearly used for worship and ceremony, and they show that that aspect of life was very important indeed to them. Adobe missions similarly took great effort to place in the wild territory of California’s early period, and collectively they took on the dual function of survival and worship. We might ask of ourselves, ‘Does our own set of values motivate us powerfully enough to create something sufficiently lasting that it outlives us?’

I have discussed this symbol degree recently, but to summarise this is the importance of creating structures for the future that take care of those who follow us; to make sure that future generations will be sustained by what is built now.
So, we get a sense of the backdrop of cosmic forces and how this feeds into the more personal journey with the faster moving planets; archetypes that are being evolved through the human experience. We are the paint on the canvas; the work of art, so to speak. This is how I see it.

So now let's look at the Moon transits for today, bearing in mind the backdrop of the above map, of where we are in space and time.
At 10:01am (UK time), the Moon begins her day making a conjunction with Mars in Gemini. The Moon connects with Mars' fiery action of communication. This is a fast moving, dynamic Mars who's cardinal fire is fanned by mutable air. There is so much information in this cardinally mutable moment that it's not clear what anything is specifically; just that there is a lot of it and it's moving and changing very fast. It would be like trying to hold down a hot air balloon that is rising, rising, rising ... and so the Moon is pulled along into this jet stream of information. I think that Mars will benefit from the Moon's presence, if he is able to notice her in all the information fires, that are popping up everywhere about everything. For the Moon it feels like an overwhelming tide which must be taken in at a subjective level and processed carefully, internally, while at the same time not becoming too attached. Honestly though it's all moving so fast that the only action possible for the Moon is to hold on to that rope while the hot air balloon rises up. In a short while this moment will release her from the conjunction. Let's look at the Sabian symbol.

Nature's bounty is most clearly evidenced in its supply of simple needs like water, which lies under the feet awaiting our claim, and is frequently replenished from above. In contrast to those who stress and strain towards further attainment, some can accept and trust in life.

To me, this feels like a need for being grounded in the well of ones own ideas, at the deeper level of subjective understanding. This would include the need to use intuition and the inner senses in order to know what feels right. There is also a sense of not attaching to externalised ideas but to be grounded in ones own emotional values; not swayed by external information that does not feel right. The Moon must 'feel' her way in order to sense what is accurate and what is simply flak. Some of the information being disseminated will be valuable and while an open mind is a good thing, the Moon's natural intuition and inner compass needs to lead. In this conjunction the Moon is also feeling the trine to Pluto and the square to Mercury in Virgo, which are interesting dynamics in relation to what is valuable knowledge being revealed by Pluto from Aquarius, and what Mercury is processing through detailed analysis in Virgo. All things considered this is a powerful conjunction. Despite the speed at which information is pouring through the Gemini field, both the Moon and also Mars are being aided by the deeper truth of Pluto's excavations and the ability to discern and analyse through a Virgo lens, of examining things for their true worth.
The Moon then makes a sextile to the Sun in Leo. This sextile feels like honey being poured over sunburn. It heals. There is a likelihood that the information which the Moon is immersed in, is useful to the Sun in his domicile position in Leo; and the solar identity of the central self. We are in Leo season and so the Sun is even more alive and vibrant here. We are also at solar maximum in solar cycle 25 and there is a LOT of activity from the Sun right now. Light and electricity, both are carriers of information coded into the atmosphere in all its layers. There is something between the Sun and the Moon now which informs their completion process as they begin to arrive at their New Moon conjunction in 5 days time. The Mind and the Heart operate together in a mutually supportive moment, where the childlike aspect of the Moon in all her inner felt senses, is infused by the light of the Sun, who in turn is eager to understand how things are on the wires and networks in the external environment, in response to his own energy output.
Venus in Leo then makes a trine to Chiron in Aries. This allows for a transmission of all the light coded electrical information to Chiron and Chiron transmits in return a healing frequency in relationship, between individual Will and Solar identity, through Venus. Venus is all about connecting to the principle of Love and Relationship as Valued in ways that nurture and sustain her emotional sense of feeling loved and being free to love without restraint in Leo. This is a lovely exchange of healing frequency and vibrational light, as fiery impulse with creative expression.
The last Moon aspect for today is the Moon making a conjunction with Jupiter in Gemini, in the late evening hour of 11:45pm in the UK. This conjunction is at 14 degrees and 2 minutes. Here is the Sabian Symbol for their conjunction.

However trusting and confident we may be in our ability to reach into subtle realms of perception and communication, it is nonetheless of critical importance that these are validated by normal rational processes. Those who shun this simple and reasonable discipline often become rather silly and accept foolish ideas as fact, they can glorify unworldliness and disdain intellect and rationality; some even lose their mental and psychological integrity.

In this degree we find the 'oh so apt' cautionary note with the Moon Jupiter conjunction. There has been so much information flow today, that the Moon and Jupiter together could well blow it out of all proportion and make castles in the air out of nothing but subjective ideas that have not been run through the test of logic and reason needed. This is very clear with no need to expand on it. So, the Moon must be careful with Jupiter's energy which is hugely optimistic and heady. The Moon will want to be sensitive to her own needs for information received to fit her internal world view.
It's interesting isn't it. On the one hand we have the need in the Moon Mars conjunction to rely on intuitive functions to bring information down to a grounded emotional perspective, and yet here with Jupiter the opposite caution is noted. Understandably so, since Jupiter is known for making everything larger, bigger, more; and in Gemini conversations could make something out of nothing, and create diversions for the mind out of something that is the flak, to divert attention from the truth. I think the answer is to remain focused and observant, both of the information and of how as a Moon, we take it all in. Both intuition and logic play a part in understanding a whole concept.
That's it; it's been a long Moon Feels today but I wanted to begin with the backdrop which I feel can become forgotten in the tumultuous energies of change. This, I hope, will help us all to remain connected to the larger picture and a more objective view of the world, as we experience it.
