Planetary Transits for the week 16th - 22nd June 2025
The Moon This Week - begins on Monday with its entrance into Pisces, in Waning Gibbous Phase. This phase is all about Assessment, Evaluation and Review. The power is winding down; the light of the Sun on the face of the Moon diminishes. All that the Moon has received becomes internalised in a subjective process where intuition takes impressions and makes them visible (internally); this is understanding at an internal level. Things are Assessed, Evaluated and Reviewed through sensory perception. This phase looks like nothing much is going on from the outside looking in, but it’s all going on internally. In Pisces, it’s through the field of consciousness; in the feelings world and dreams could be insightful in this regard.
On Tuesday the Moon enters Aries late in the evening, before midnight.
On Wednesday the Moon in Aries now, is in its Last Quarter Phase. Last Quarter is all about Letting it Go, Releasing, Cleansing. It’s the Rinse Cycle; like panning for gold, where the glints of truth can be seen more clearly. Silt and mud are rinsed away in the process.
On Thursday the Moon is in Waning Crescent Phase and remains in this phase for the rest of our Moon Feels week. This will include the Balsamic phase of this period. Waning Crescent is all about Surrender, Self-Kindness, Compassion. In Balsamic phase surrender is complete. The Moon is invisible when Balsamic. The process is of death and transformation into renewal. Internally this is a moment that is sacred and internal; ‘the space between worlds.’
On Saturday the Moon enters Taurus.
The Chart for Monday - is a complex picture as it shows up at midday. We can see that there are several configurations that when taken separately are potent, and when integrated together a whole picture emerges, and ‘every picture paints a thousand words.’
The Moon’s position at midday and into the afternoon, catalyses a Grand Cross configuration, between Moon in Aquarius (Fixed Air), Uranus in Taurus (Fixed Earth), Mars in Leo (Fixed Fire) and the True position of Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius (Mutable Fire). So let’s sit with these elements and modalities for a moment. Remember last week and the Cardinal Fire energies of Aries, in the bows, of the Boat? To me this week’s story says that this internal and unseen building of Cardinal Fire that was an internal combustion engine propelling the Boat into motion, (between Saturn and Neptune), has now become a Mutable Fire, which apart from the Grand Cross configuration, makes up the tip of the Mast of this week’s Boat and Sail aspect pattern. So the Fire has become external and easier to see. The Moon is in receipt of the Truth in all senses; from the higher perspective of BML, ‘as’ the Moon in the Aquarius field of collective knowledge, to the Uranus agent of change at the last degree of Taurus; all of these are points of tension in action and consciousness. The Moon is also in Opposition to the Mars energies, at the last degree of Leo. Assess, Evaluate, Review.
Black Moon Lilith at the top of the Sail, is in Square to both the Moon and to Mars; both in Fixed Air and Fire, and in Opposition to Uranus in Taurus. The Wild and largely unknown, instinctual feminine aspect that BML represents, brings movement to the Moon’s understanding in Fixed Air, and in response to the Fixed Fire of Mars as an activating force to speak the truth, as she sees it. BML is in the position of Response and Release in the Quest for Truth; and the Search for Meaning that Sagittarius represents. The Grand Square is mostly fixed apart from BML in Sagittarius, and so She is an agent of change also.
There is a strong and dynamic Mars Square to Uranus. See the Sabian Symbols (below) for some very interesting correlations between the Mars Uranus Square, as it relates to the Anoretic degree points of both Leo and Taurus. This Square has been in effect for a number of days and will continue, even after Mars enters Virgo on Tuesday. This will create quite a shift in the tension, activating the organisation of whatever fallout this ‘fixed’ tension creates. Mars in Virgo is incisive, sharply perceptive and able to hone in and cut out, and deal the necessary blows, to anything that is not what it seems to be. Mars in Virgo is forensic pathology. Things cannot hide from Mars in Virgo. It’s the kind of clarification process that looks in detail and as a whole, at everything. Nothing gets missed out and in Virgo, Mars will be in service to the process of the South Node and the greater whole. This will likely be a ‘house to house’ kind of search and discovery mission.

This Uranus square with Mars at the Anoretic degree of Taurus and Leo, was exact on Saturday/Sunday 14th/15th June. I am including them here because I forgot to include them in last week’s Moon Feels. They are both very interesting and we may see just ‘how’ interesting, in hindsight and as this week unfolds. This Square is still very much in play, even as Mars will make a leap into Virgo on Tuesday 17th June, this week.

Our artworks - whether carved in marble or as momentary charming gestures of personality - are as letters written and sent into the world. Our words and even our unspoken thoughts are all contributors to the totality of our glorious life message and, at least on the most subtle levels of reality, these cannot be kept to ourselves and hidden from the world indefinitely. We are all connected; we are one together, and every little aspect of who we are and what we have thought and done is eventually revealed.

Bear in mind that the Square between Mars and Uranus has been in effect for at least a week. It’s peak was yesterday (on Sunday 15th), and it reverberates.
Both of these Anoretic degree points seem to point to things of the past, that stand up and stand out in the present; and that this is a recognition of them and an appreciation of the impact their presence in the world has made. What has been unsaid, is finally said.
The Boat is strong between the Transpersonal Planets. The Sun, the Moon and Mars participate and enlarge the aspect patterns into three minor Grand Trines on Monday, lending their presence and intensity to increase our focus, within and without.
Last thing I’d like to talk about for Monday is the lovely Sextile between the Sun and Chiron. Information is illuminated and communicated with Chiron, that is both healing and brings a greater wisdom for the Aries archetype; and likewise, Chiron brings an activation of Cardinal Fire healing potential, which is easily communicated through the airwaves, by a radiating Sun, in Mutable Air. This Sun Chiron connection lasts all day today, and for the next couple of days as the Sun moves on. So the first half of the week carries this collaboration of support that is very healing through active communication. The Sun emits a healing radiation of light; light encoded with healing, carrying the supportive radiance of our Star, to all (Aries). There will be more to say about this tomorrow.
To finish up with Monday and to make note of the Moon’s aspects through the day, including some of the energies I have just talked about:
10:01am Moon in Aquarius Trines the Sun in Gemini. There is a sharing of ambience between the Moon and the Sun. The Moon is in Waning Gibbous, so the light is dimming on the surface of the Moon. The Trine harmonises the Moon with the Sun, whose energy is full of life’s healing light, and the communications are a free flowing transmission of light coded information. This seems to be a theme for this week, as the Sun begins to connect by aspect to other Planetary bodies. Until now, the Sun has been relatively quite so far in Gemini.
11:30am The Moon Sextile’s Chiron in Aries. This Sextile is a reflection of the Sextile between the Sun and Chiron. The Moon reflects the waning light; thoughtful, assessing, evaluating, reviewing; internally much quieter. The Aquarius archetype receives Chiron’s supportive wisdom; Moon receives healing impressions, inspiring the needed healing of old wounds and trauma’s at a subjective and core level. It seems to me that this Minor Grand Trine between Sun Moon and Chiron is important for the New Moon in Cancer (the Moon’s home sign), as an emotional clearing of old thoughts, feelings, trauma’s and those of collective impact that each individual holds. This configuration is what makes up one of the Minor Grand Trines that I spoke of earlier. I’m thinking along the lines of Genetically encoded healing and a true gift in these transformational times. Chiron is at the apex of the Minor Grand Trine, receiving and supporting individuation, differentiation and healing for individual Souls to receive what they need at this time. It’s Fixed and Mutable Air and Cardinal Fire.
16:17pm Moon is in Square to Uranus in Taurus. As a last quarter Square, the tension here is of a crisis of consciousness, and is expressed through the Anoretic degree of each sign; Aquarius and Taurus.
17:30pm Moon makes Opposition to Mars in Leo. Again, the anoretic degrees of Aquarius and now Leo are involved. For reference, here is the Sabian Symbol for the Anoretic degree of Aquarius:

Sufis teach of Unity and Diversity. The One manifests as the many, and the many collectively conjoin to form the One. This relationship is mirrored whenever any group with spiritual awareness finds itself able to function as a unified entity. For example in a sacred dance circle, each dancer individually adds a unique input to the whole and has their own personal experience, yet to an observer the circle is a unit that radiates light as a whole. When the circle is comprised of initiates, for example in a Sufi sema, the power of light is extraordinary as each is aware of the whole and their own individual part simultaneously; both aspects of reality – the wave and the particle – are grasped into consciousness.

“Both aspects of reality - the wave and the particle - are grasped into consciousness.” Unity and Diversity Within, is reflected through collective light. Again, we see an emphasis on Light and in this Opposition; the light of collective consciousness (the wave), that is comprised of every individual light which has discovered its own particle.
18:09pm Moon enters Mutable Water Pisces. This ambience, the mood of it and it’s deeper sense is free to float in the Ocean of Collective Consciousness. Monday feels like such an internal, healing day and a day of ‘re-cognition,’ upon reflection and review of all that has come before.
21:00 Moon in Pisces Trines Jupiter in Cancer. This Trine is icing on the cake of Monday. Jupiter in exaltation in Cancer; at home in the sign of the Moon for the next year, is a breath of spiritual connection to the core of matter and the heart of the self. The Trine today infuses all of Monday’s Light encoded healing, into home and hearth and Jupiter amplifies that feeling.
Tuesday 17th June
At 07:15am on Tuesday the Sun makes a Sextile to Chiron in Aries, exact this morning. To say more about this Minor Grand Trine; this is Healing knowledge being illuminated, and on one level this could turn up in the form of Light encoded healing energies between the Sun and Chiron; as Solar dynamics at play. We all need Sunlight; nature needs it, the animal and plant kingdoms need it. Sunlight is deeply healing and with Solar radiation flowing into the Earth’s energy system, we also receive the warmth and healing rays that cleanse and energise. Without Sunlight, the Earth and all of Nature, would stop thriving and life would end in darkness. There would be no light for the Moon to reflect, or the bodies of water on the Earth; nothing could reflect light because there would be no light to reflect. The Sun is our glow lamp; our Star, our incubator and the source of life on Earth. This Sextile is a direct collaboration between Chiron in Aries and the Sun in Gemini; Light encoded information and knowledge, which brings healing to the Aries archetype. Self confidence, self worth, courage, enthusiasm for life’s adventure and the Will to step into the unknown with the energy to do so, as one of many. Aries meets challenges and whatever they are, rises to meet them, head on.
At 08:36am Mars enters Virgo. I have re-discovered a word that I haven’t heard for a long time which perfectly describes Mars in Virgo. The word is, ‘Perspicacity.’ It means: Penetrating insight. Astute. Insightful. Shrewd acuity. Acumen. Keen mental perception and understanding.
Mars in Virgo is going to be extremely useful, on mission and in service to discovery of the truth, of the way things are. This means the way things have been and their effects; what they are, what they do, the effect they have. Mars will actively examine the bodies and discover the causes behind the mysterious.
I expect a lot fall, to the Sword of Mars in Virgo. It’s an information war amongst all the other ways in which Mars will use his skills for the next 6 weeks or so.
At 15:01pm on Tuesday, the Moon in Pisces makes a Sextile to Venus in Taurus. Venus takes in all that the Moon shares in this mutually lovely collaboration. The Moon Feels the changing values of Venus establishing themselves in the ground of reality.
Wednesday 18th June - Last Quarter Moon. Letting Go. Releasing. Cleansing.
At 00:08am in the nighttime, the Moon in Pisces makes a Trine with Mercury in Cancer. This is a free flow of emotional information being transmitted between the Moon and Mercury; between the Pisces realm of the unconscious and the feelings world of sensitive Cancer.
Dreams.
At 10:13am on Wednesday morning, the Moon makes a Conjunction with the North Node and an Opposition to the South Node in Virgo. The Sabian symbol for the Conjunction is:

Our grasp on the nature of reality is a blend of the intuitive and the taught, and if we want to establish the truth of our unique take on life then we have to substantiate that what we think or feel is true. In the New Age there are many hopeful people yearning for a new way forward and ready to grasp at straws believing in absurdities and trusting their untested intuition to an unrealistic degree. Such blind faith has more to do with blindness than faith. There are more charlatans and fools than there are wise and honest teachers and healers, and even the sincere leaders may not be fully awakened and be missing various pieces of the jigsaw. The real ones are typified by their willingness to serve, often expending significantly of their vital energies.

A "MATERIALISING" MEDIUM GIVING A SEANCE
In this Conjunction with the North Node, the Moon is asked to be realistic and to release the idea that truth can only come from outside sources. There are many who do not know but pretend to, and some who know something but not everything. Some serve at the expense of their own vital energies. Putting our faith in others to tell the whole truth, is blind faith.
This is a strong message of significance to how the Moon moves forward. To know for ones self; is to trust and have faith in ones own mind, consciousness and life journey.
At 19:18 the Moon makes a Square to the Sun in Gemini. From the field of consciousness and emotional sensitivity; empathy and compassion, the Moon in Pisces is in a crisis of consciousness Square to the Sun, illuminating information to which the Moon needs to adjust. So there is information being highlighted which brings the need to adjust our sensitive and emotional nature, and how we understand what we are hearing, seeing and being asked to believe. This is not a moment to blindly accept, but to remember the lesson of the North Node just a couple of hours ago.
This is the Moon’s last quarter square; it’s last quarter phase with the Sun before the New Moon, and on Wednesday this crisis in consciousness is a critical moment, of putting into place the lessons and the growth of consciousness that has transpired for the Moon this week, through the waning phases. Remember the North Node Conjunction and the Sabian Symbol for that degree, as it will stand us in good stead for the confusion of information; not all of which is going to be true. No more blind faith.
Wednesday is a testing day.
Then at 21:33pm the Moon makes Sextile to Uranus in Taurus, and connects electrically through the field of reality, with something radical that helps the Moon to move through a moment of changing moods, in the collective landscape. The electrical nature of Uranus, grounded through the Earth, is a conduit for the Moon to connect with the potentials of sudden changes. There’s a sense of immanence that is exchanged through the Sextile.
At 23:08pm on Wednesday, the Moon enters Cardinal Fire Aries and the mood of the Moon changes from passive to active, as we move into the Waning Crescent phase on Thursday.
Thursday 19th June - Waning Crescent - Surrender, Self - Kindness, Compassion
We bring the Waning Crescent energies to our sense of being a distinct individual.
At 01:37am the Moon in Aries makes a number of immediate and dynamic aspects, starting with a Conjunction with Saturn. The Sabian Symbol for this conjunction is: ‘A Comedian Entertaining a Group,’ and this is where we have to learn the skills of adjustment to feedback. This is a theme for the Moon Saturn conjunctions for the next few months while Saturn is in Aries. This is initiating a structured self identity, based on the maturity of ego and ones ability to adjust oneself to feedback in a way that is mature; without defence, or taking offence, or collapsing of the ego into insecurity. Saturn in Aries responds as a secure and mature ego in this sense, at this degree … if it is not to take offence and collapse into a lower ego state. Dreams may bring insight in this regard, if remembered, for those of us in the nighttime hours.
At 02:45 the Moon then makes a last quarter Square to Jupiter in Cancer and a Conjunction to Neptune at the same time. So the Moon is merged into Neptune’s field of vast energy, without boundaries; personal illusions, Aries’ spiritual compassionate nature that aspires to infuse spiritual values into the world.
Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and Neptune’s foggy nature is burned off in Aries. This is a challenge to decipher, mostly due to Neptune’s unboundaried visions that make Aries a little dreamier than normal. Jupiter desires to move beyond boundaries and aspires to reach, to know more, experience more; the call to adventure is strong with Jupiter. So the Moon is consumed with possibilities that may seem endlessly and infinitely varied, and in Aries may be dreaming at this nighttime hour of many ideas with all the fire and enthusiasm of a steam engine. I think it’s a good job that this is a nighttime aspect! Dream journals recommended!
At 04:56 the Moon makes a Sextile with Pluto in Aquarius. In this early morning hour the Moon Pluto Sextile is a separating aspect which is a propulsion for the Moon to move forward in a way that is beneficial to discovery of knowledge which the Moon will find very useful. Aquarius represents amongst other things, not only trauma’s but memories from ‘the past,’ and this suggests to me that memories may surface which help to make sense of something, which the Moon needs to make sense of.
There are no daytime aspects being made on Thursday, so the dynamics have gone on at an internal level.
Friday 20th June
On Friday there are just two aspects made by the Moon in Aries. A Square to Mercury in Cancer and a Conjunction with Chiron.
At 10:31am the Moon Squares Mercury and as a last quarter Square, the tension created in the morning, is around communications of an emotional nature which requires the Moon to pause and reflect, and to actively respond.
At 20:01pm the Moon is Conjunct to Chiron. My feeling is that the Moon is by now feeling a little frazzled from the busy Aries energies, where internal pressure has been building. The Conjunction with Chiron is useful, to focus the Moon’s energies. The Moon may want to ‘move’ physically in some way to release and let go and surrender having to hold it all in. This would be taking care of personal needs (Self-Kindness and Compassion).

Self-development takes place on a trial and error basis; it is process not outcome that matters and without set-backs we cannot perfect faith, the true prize. When we fail to achieve our intended purpose then we must adjust our orientation of intent, considering again what success really looks like on the deepest levels.

Ah, disappointment. A change of pace and ‘doing’ something to actively engage with mental processes of the imagination, might be the healing needed, to allow something to emerge afresh that puts things into a shifted perspective.
Saturday 21st June - by now - the Moon is becoming invisible
There are a lot of nighttime aspects, so another busy night and early hours, including the Moon moving into Fixed Earth Taurus and the Sun moving into Cardinal Water Cancer and joining Jupiter and Mercury there.
We wake up to a Moon that has calmed down, feels more solid and has become grounded, and a Sun that radiates emotional bonds of love and sensitivity and all the ‘feels’ of Cancer. Summer Solstice, and ‘June is busting out all over.’
During the night the Moon makes a Trine to Mars in Virgo, a Sextile to Jupiter in Cancer and a first quarter Square to Pluto in Aquarius. So, dreams may carry the signatures of those harmonious, collaborative and perhaps early morning confrontations that requires the Moon to resolve the tensions of the Square.
At 11:29am Mercury in Cancer makes a Trine with the North Node in Pisces and a Sextile to the South Node in Virgo. Mercury is in very beneficial energetic connection to the energies of releasing the past and harmonising with future leanings.
Sunday 22nd June - The Moon will be in the Balsamic portion of its waning crescent phase. Fully invisible until the New Moon on 24th. Cancer will be lit up with new possibilities, ideas, dreams, reflections and ideas of fresh starts … but that is next week.
Today, on Sunday the Moon at 05:01am makes a Conjunction with Venus in Taurus.

In seeking further and further clarification of a newly-discovered truth, we are required to develop warrior qualities and fight the real forces of ignorance, domination and greed. Indecision is a fatal flaw for a warrior - who must reduce matters to good and evil, black and white, and choose definitively between this or that, necessity and desire.

A SYMBOLICAL BATTLE BETWEEN ‘SWORDS’ AND ‘TORCHES’
As the early morning Conjunction after a nighttime Trine with Mars in Virgo, a Sextile with Jupiter and a Square with Pluto, this Conjunction with Venus suggests a dilemma of values that have a dualistic nature between Truth and Lies. Mind and Spirit must dual it out. It reminds me of the North Node Conjunction that the Moon experienced and was confronted with the need to realise that not everyone has all the truth, or the whole story. It is likely that by Saturday night and into Sunday, such a dilemma is front and centre, either within the dream space, or the breaking of the day. Dreams bleed through with inner confrontations between one or the other and how it all matters to our deepest values.
At 10:31am Mars in Virgo makes a Sextile with Jupiter in Cancer. This Sextile brings support for Mars that is emotionally focused, to inspire and encourage; Jupiter fashion.
At 14:32pm the Moon in Taurus makes a Sextile with the North Node in Pisces, and a Trine with the South Node in Virgo. As with Mercury, these Nodal connections are a harmonious and supportive connection and opportunities to connect with a flow of unconscious energy that supports the Moon toward future, and harmonises the Moon in resonant frequency with what is what, who is who; to choose truth over falsity; clarity over confusion.
At 17:44pm on Sunday the Moon makes a Sextile with Mercury in Cancer. It’s lovely. A very nice Sextile of mutual understanding where mind and feelings are in accord, in a grounded and real connection.
At 18:35pm the Sun in Cancer makes a first quarter Square to Saturn in Aries. Sun highlighting emotional tensions that are being asked to resolve something and take personal responsibility for ‘how we feel.’ The need for a maturity as things rise up emotionally.
The whole week is intense. Intensely healing, spiritual, growthful and not without some challenges to rise above. Information comes forward which must be looked at from objective perspectives and without blind faith in something without confirmation and discernment, using Mars in Virgo; very helpful energies that assist throughout.
